Sherman is the founder and managing partner at Sophos Consulting. He leads operations for the Greater China practice. With his multi-decades of banking and consulting experience across the Greater China region, Sherman focuses on clients in financial services and professional services.
Prior to founding the Sophos, Sherman led one of the largest global leadership advisory and executive search firms as the Greater China Country Head and Managing Partner and spent more than 18 years at one of the largest consulting firms where he was the Managing Partner and leader of Greater China Financial Services Consulting covering strategy, transformation, digital and technology, regulatory and compliance, risk management, and actuarial advisory. During this time, he was responsible for building growth across his portfolio, supported by 1,400 professionals. He also held different roles across top tier financial institutions.
Harry Lin is Managing Partner at Sophos Consulting, with over 26 years of experience across executive search, high-tech, financial and professional services sectors in Asia and North America. He specializes in senior-level searches for technology, fintech, private equity, and digital transformation leadership roles, advising clients across Greater China and APAC.
Prior to founding Sophos, Harry spent over 12 years at one of the world’s top global executive search firms, where he was a core member of the FinTech and Technology Practice and served as Hong Kong Office Manager for seven years. He has led C-
suite and senior searches for CTOs, CIOs, Chief Data & Analytics Officers, and fintech leaders across startups, PE portfolio companies, and Fortune 500 firms.
Earlier in his career, Harry held investment and research roles at Equanum Capital and Thomson Reuters, and spent nine years in wireless telecom with Motorola and Nortel across Asia and North America.
He holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from UBC and an MBA from Peking University, and is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
With over 12 years of experience in financial management consulting, Ken leverages his deep consulting expertise to deliver executive search and leadership advisory services, serving clients scaling their mainland China footprint or venturing into global markets.
Drawing on his solid consulting background, Ken applies astute commercial judgement in corporate business analysis, granting him profound understanding of corporate hiring priorities and industry talent trends. Adept at complex stakeholder engagement and cultivating long-term key-client relationships, Ken serves as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, identifying well-matched leadership talent to accelerate business growth and support organizational transformation.
Prior to his leadership advisory career, Ken built substantial management consulting credentials. As Senior Manager at a top-tier consulting firm, he led multiple large-scale digital transformation and strategy consulting engagements for leading financial institutions.
Ken holds a Master’s degree from Peking University and has completed a short-term consulting and finance program at Columbia University.
Sukie brings around 20 years of executive search and recruitment expertise across the APAC region, specializing in C-suite and senior leadership appointments. Her core industry focus spans private equity, professional services, retail, procurement, industrial, life sciences, and the public sector.
She possesses deep functional expertise across corporate strategy, technology & IT, data analytics, operations, project management, general management, finance, HR, sourcing & procurement, engineering, and quality management. Skilled in competency-based interviewing, Sukie acts as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates, delivering tailored, high-impact talent solutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Sukie spent 14 years as a Senior Consultant at a boutique search firm, where she led a team of researchers executing end-to-end assignments ranging from regional specialists to global functional heads. She began her career with two international retained search firms.

Avery Tse is a Consultant at Sophos Consulting, responsible for mid-to-senior-level talent search and recruitment consulting across Greater China. With over five years of experience in the executive search industry, Avery focuses on financial services, IT, and advanced manufacturing, serving clients throughout Greater China.
Prior to joining Sophos Consulting, Avery was, at the time, the youngest manager-level employee at a major Hong Kong-listed company, where Avery built its Shenzhen IT Center from the ground up and was deeply involved in team formation, recruitment system development, cross-regional coordination, and operational launch. Avery is familiar with labor laws in both mainland China and Hong Kong and understands the differences between the two jurisdictions in employment environment, hiring models, compliance requirements, and talent management. Avery has extensive experience in cross-regional recruitment, organizational build-out, and employment compliance.
Avery holds a bachelor’s degree in Internet of Things (IoT) from Guangdong
Polytechnic Normal University. While pursuing the degree, Avery also took ACCA courses, combining a technical background with business acumen. Today, Avery is dedicated to combining industry insights with cross-border compliance experience to help clients efficiently acquire key talent in Greater China and support the stable development of cross-regional teams.
Renee is a Research Associate at Sophos Consulting, focusing on senior-level and C-suite executive search assignments across the private equity and financial services sectors. She conducts in-depth market and talent research, develops industry and competitor intelligence, and maps organizations and leadership teams to identify and assess relevant executives. With an academic background in economics and global management, she is naturally curious about how businesses operate, what drives their success, and the people behind them. She enjoys getting beneath the surface of a market, connecting the dots across organizations and careers, and turning complex information into clear and useful insights.
Renee brings an analytical, thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to her work, while valuing the personal relationships at the heart of executive search.
